Founder Richard Will has been active in the real estate industry since 1977. He had been successfully brokering apartment and investment properties in Houston, Texas, and Washington, DC, and upon his 1987 return to Syracuse he found this sector in upstate New York sorely lacking in expertise and professionalism. Hemisphere Holdings Corp. was created in 1991 to fill this void. Richard has brokered hundreds of properties in his career, with a lifetime sales volume measured in the multi-millions. He is the author of frequent editorials on his apartment specialty in the New York Real Estate Journal and the CNY Business Journal.
Richard’s in-depth knowledge of the multifamily market qualified him to represent nearly 200 apartment owners in challenging their tax assessments, which has resulted in millions of dollars in tax savings. MAI appraisers throughout New York State often consult with Richard when they prepare their apartment appraisals.
